ABOUT UNIVERSITY AMBASSADORS
The University Ambassadors Program provides college students with a unique opportunity to work with members of D.C.’s premiere venue for American theatre.  As an Ambassador you will join a team of other students and members of Arena’s prestigious Communication Department in organizing and implementing marketing strategies on your campus for performances and events throughout our season.   Not only will you be making an excellent addition to your professional resume and academic records, but you will also receive FREE tickets for you and a guest to some of our critically acclaimed productions.

WAYS TO GET INVOVED
Promotion and marketing tactics include but are not limited to those listed below. We are always open to new ideas. Just send us an email at ambassadors@arenastage.org.

• Hang posters around campus and community locations, such as book stores, student unions, coffee shops, and    
• Include Arena Stage site links on your AIM profile, Facebook profile, MySpace profile, or other social networking sites
• Write and post about Arena Stage on social networking sites
• Place postcards around campus facilities and community outlets
• Distribute Group Sales brochures to various theater and arts group facilities
• E-mail friends about upcoming programs and events
• Text messages to friends about upcoming shows and events
• Write about your favorite Arena Stage performer, production, cabaret, or special event on blog
• Get campus newspaper to include program or event in calendar.
• Get campus newspaper to run feature article on program or event
• Represent Arena Stage at campus gatherings and festivities

UPDATING US ON YOUR EFFORTS
In order for Arena Stage to account for your efforts, University Ambassadors will be required to submit the following over the course of their participation with the program:

• Include Arena Stage contacts on e-mails to list serves and friends.
• E-mail Arena Stage a link to blog, MySpace, Facebook, or AIM page postings about Arena Stage.
• Invite Arena Stage to your posting, event, or social networking events.
• Send Arena Stage copies of school newspaper articles and calendar where Arena productions are posted.  If an electronic version is available, please email us the link.
• Email or mail pictures from events where you acted as a representative of Arena Stage.
