Arena Stage, an award winning regional theater now in its 59th season, seeks an experienced carpenter for the remainder of Arena Restaged Part II: 2009/2010.  This hourly position runs through May 2010 and is eligible for overtime, health and vacation benefits.   

Responsibilities:
Construct and install all scenic elements; participate in the maintenance of theater and shop facilities.

Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge of theatrical construction techniques using a variety of materials from wood to metal; a minimum of two years experience in the scene shop of a professional theater. Preference will be given to early applicants who hold a valid driver’s license.
